5th Gup Blue Stripe Testing Requirements
Eligibility for promotion to the rank of 4th Gup begins after 20 hrs of training and is at the discretion of the instructor.
Verbal Requirements

- Always be honest with your Instructor. Differences should always be discussed. Taking your problems elsewhere is a betrayal of your relationship with your Instructor. Your Instructor is not your buddy. Patience with what may appear to be unreasonable demands will yield good results. Your Instructor, more than any one else, wants you to well.

Remember that the techniques you learn take years to understand and master. For this reason, never use techniques from other schools that your Instructor disagrees with.
